The Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Accounting and Finance is offered by Douglas College's Commerce and Business Administration faculty for students who already hold a bachelor's degree in a discipline other than commerce or business administration. Coursework builds financial literacy through financial and managerial accounting, financial planning, investing, business mathematics, income tax, data analytics and business law, preparing graduates for roles such as tax analyst, financial planner, financial advisor or investment analyst. The credential runs two years, worth 60 credits, at least half of them upper-level, with day and evening courses offered year-round to full-time and part-time students starting in the Fall, Winter or Summer semester. Students may add an optional Co-operative Education work term or the Business Internship Program for practical experience alongside their studies. Graduation requires a minimum program GPA of 2.00 and at least half the coursework, including half the upper-level credits, completed at Douglas College.
