Admission Requirements: Entry requires an Ontario Secondary School Diploma, or Mature Student Status for applicants aged 19 or over without one, plus Grade 12 English at the C or U level with a minimum grade of 60 per cent. International and non-native-English-speaking applicants must also meet Durham College's general English Language Proficiency Policy: IELTS Academic 6.0 with no band below 5.5, TOEFL iBT 88 with no section below 22, PTE Academic 53 with no section below 49, CAEL 60 overall, or Duolingo English Test 110. Before the Semester 2 field placement, students must independently arrange, at their own expense, current Level C CPR certification, current standard first-aid certification, a completed entry immunization form, and verification through the college's Electronic Requirements Verification documentation partner; these are placement conditions, not requirements for program entry.
