Admission Requirements: Admission to the Bachelor of Electrical Engineering runs on ÉTS's technical-DEC profiles: Profile E covers electrical/electronics-related DECs (digital-systems technology, electronics technology, industrial electronics, electrical-engineering technology in automation, networks or programmable electronics, and avionics), and Profile I covers computer-technology technique (420.B0); all technical-DEC entrants must pass mandatory diagnostic tests. A pre-university DEC in natural sciences or computer science/mathematics is accepted after ÉTS's "cheminement universitaire en technologie" bridging pathway, electricity or computing specialty, with a minimum cumulative average of 2.30/4.30. Other routes include a French BUT/DUT or international Bac+2 technical diploma (11.50/20 minimum), a recognised Canadian college diploma, or, from age 21, at least 30 technical college units plus two years of relevant technical experience. Teaching is in French; candidates must meet ÉTS's first-cycle language-policy directive, which publishes no minimum test score. The program is non-contingented with Fall and Winter intakes.
