Overview

This Diplôme d'études supérieures spécialisées (DESS) in public administration with an international management focus is a 30-credit graduate diploma for managers in public and parapublic organizations who want to build their capacity to work in international contexts. The curriculum comprises four mandatory courses (12 credits), three concentration courses (9 credits), two elective courses (6 credits) and a mandatory integration activity (3 credits), covering public administration principles alongside the practices of international cooperation and management. Classes are offered mainly at ENAP's Quebec City and Montreal campuses, with some courses available online and at the Gatineau campus. The DESS does not confer an academic grade; it is a professional credential for practitioners who already work in public administration and are looking to extend their expertise into an international dimension of the field.
