Overview
Located at Fanshawe’s Simcoe/Norfolk Regional Campus in Norfolk County, our program is at the heart of Canada’s Carolinian Zone, known as the country's most biodiverse region. Surrounded by forests and wetlands that are home to a remarkable diversity of bird species, wildlife, and flora, our campus provides a living classroom for hands-on conservation education. Requirements
Admission Requirements: Direct entry from an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent, or as a mature applicant, with Grade 12 English at College (C) or University (U) level; applicants short of this are directed to academic upgrading, and a conditional offer may be possible with proof of enrolment. English language proficiency: IELTS Academic 6.0 overall with no band below 5.5, TOEFL iBT 4.5 overall with no section below 4 (79 on the pre-2026 scale), PTE Academic 53, Duolingo English Test 105 with no section below 95, or CAEL 60 overall with no section below 50 (80 in listening). Where applicants outnumber seats, Fanshawe ranks by preference for Ontario permanent residents, receipt of application by 1 February, then achievement in the admission requirements. Before starting, students complete a mandatory WRIT placement assessment and must show evidence of good health.

International applicants apply directly to Fanshawe (CAD 100 fee) and face fixed document deadlines rather than a single closing date: for the current intakes, study-permit and conditions-met documents are due 10/15 August 2026 (Fall), 9/15 December 2026 (Winter) and 5/15 April 2027 (Summer); missing a deadline can mean deferral to the next intake. These are institution-wide dates; this programme publishes no deadline of its own.
