This business program is meticulously created to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of core business concepts. This program encompasses core concepts in business processes, finance, project management, customer service, ethics, sustainability, marketing and business law. You'll practice strategic thinking and gain practical business skills essential for today's market. This business program will prepare you with everything you need to develop your leadership attributes that can be applied in small business, entry-level management roles, not-for-profit sector or within large corporations.
Requirements
Admission Requirements: Direct entry from an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent, or as a mature applicant, with Grade 12 English (C or U) and either Grade 11 Math (C, U or M with at least 60%) or Grade 12 Math (C or U); applicants short of this are directed to academic upgrading, or may complete the one-year Business Fundamentals preparatory program (BFS2), after which they can enter Level 2 of any Fanshawe business diploma. Graduates may go on to Business Administration – Leadership and Management (Advanced Diploma) or the Honours Bachelor of Commerce (Management) after bridging. English language proficiency: IELTS Academic 6.0 overall with no band below 5.5, TOEFL iBT 4.5 overall with no section below 4 (79 pre-2026), PTE Academic 53, Duolingo English Test 105 with no section below 95, or CAEL 60 overall with no section below 50 (80 in listening). Applicants may also apply for advanced standing on prior academic achievement or PLAR. Where applicants outnumber seats, Fanshawe ranks by preference for Ontario permanent residents, receipt of application by 1 February, then achievement in the admission requirements.
