Requirements

Admission Requirements: The programme page states only a general prior-credential requirement: an Ontario College Diploma or university degree, or equivalent. No admission averages or specific courses are set at the programme level. As the page sets no language scores of its own, Fleming College's general English proficiency requirement applies: IELTS Academic 6.0 overall with no band below 5.5, TOEFL iBT 80 with no section below 20, PTE Academic 46, or Duolingo English Test 105. Before starting field placements, admitted students must submit a current criminal reference check (including vulnerable-sector screening where required) and hold current First Aid and CPR-C certification; the college also notes that the role is physically demanding and that candidates must be able to meet the physical requirements of a placement.
