Cert in Dental Office Administration

Admission Requirements: Entry requires an Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent, including Grade 12 English at the C or U level; attending an information session and having basic keyboarding and computer skills are recommended but not mandatory. Applicants 19 or older without an OSSD may apply as mature students and sit George Brown's Admissions Assessment for English, or upgrade to obtain the needed credit. Selection is competitive on academic achievement, so meeting the minimum does not guarantee a seat and applicants may need higher grades. Once accepted, students must provide a CPR Level C certificate renewed annually before starting the mandatory dental-practice field placement, and full COVID-19 vaccination is recommended given the placement's contact with vulnerable populations.
