Requirements

Admission Requirements: Entry requires an Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent, including Grade 12 English at the C or U level. Applicants 19 or older without an OSSD may apply as mature students and sit George Brown's Admissions Assessment for English, or upgrade to obtain the needed credit. Selection is competitive, so meeting the minimum requirements does not guarantee admission and applicants may need grades above the stated minimum. College or university credits may qualify for course exemptions through the Transfer Guide; domestic applicants apply through Ontario Colleges. International applicants should consult George Brown's International Admissions page for country-specific academic and English-proficiency requirements, since this page does not itself publish IELTS or TOEFL score bands.
