Requirements

Admission Requirements: Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent with Grade 12 English (C or U), followed by an interview and an audition - entry rests on an in-person audition and/or interview. Every applicant who meets the academic requirements is given an audition appointment; auditions are held in April and May for the September start, and there is no January entry. Enrolment is deliberately limited and admission is competitive, decided on audition and interview results assessed by faculty members. Mature applicants aged 19 or over without an OSSD may take the Admissions Assessment for English, or upgrade to earn the credit. Once enrolled, students need a minimum academic standing plus passing grades in acting to move up a semester.
