This is a competitive-entry program. Applicants whose first language is not English must show either a minimum of two years of full-time study in English in Canada, an IELTS Academic overall score of 7.0 with Writing 6.5, Speaking 7, Listening 7 and Reading 6.5, or, for internationally educated nurses, CELBAN with Writing 7, Speaking 8, Listening 9 and Reading 8. Prior to placement, accepted students must provide current immunization records, criminal record and vulnerable sector checks, Standard First Aid and BLS-HCP CPR certification, Transferring/Lifting/Repositioning certification, 2015 WHMIS GHS certification, and N95 respirator fit testing for two mask models.
