Graduate Certificate of Theological Studies

The Graduate Certificate of Theological Studies is a 30-credit-hour Seminary credential at Heritage College and Seminary for students who want to deepen their understanding of God through Scripture while continuing to serve in the vocation to which they feel called. The programme centres on careful study of the Bible and Christian doctrine, preparing graduates for informed participation in the life and mission of the church. It is designed as an accessible entry point into graduate theological education, including for mature applicants aged 28 or over who do not hold an undergraduate degree: such applicants may pursue a direct track toward a further degree, or demonstrate undergraduate-degree equivalency through roughly 101 post-secondary credit hours, and all mature applicants complete a research essay as part of their application so the college can assess their fit for graduate-level theological study. International students are admitted for fall-term registration only.
