Requirements
Minimum GPA:75.00 / %
Admission Requirements: Second-entry stream: entry is on completed university study, not on secondary school alone. Academic: a completed three- or four-year university degree with a grade point average of 75 per cent or higher; where more than 60 credit hours have been completed the average is calculated on the most recent 60 credit hours, with every course in a term counted even if that pushes past 60. Applicants without a full degree but holding 60 credit hours at 75 per cent or higher may also be considered. You also need at least 75 per cent in each of four Grade 12 subjects: Biology (SBI4U), Chemistry (SCH4U), English (ENG4U) and any U-level mathematics, or their equivalents. International post-secondary documents must be assessed course-by-course by WES Canada and international secondary credentials by ICAS. English, where English is not your first language or your previous education was in another language: Humber lists a separate, higher band for Bachelor of Science - Nursing - IELTS Academic 7.0 with no band under 6.5, TOEFL iBT 100 with 21 per skill, CAEL 60 with 60 in writing, MET 64. Once you accept a seat, placement clearances may be required: immunisations and laboratory testing, TB screening, a police record check, and current First Aid and CPR certification. Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario later requires a declaration covering immigration status, any criminal conviction or offence under the Narcotic Control or Food and Drug Acts, any professional-conduct proceedings, and any disorder affecting safe practice; those conditions hold throughout the program.
