Engineering Technologies is John Abbott's technical DEC combining electronic, mechanical, thermal, computer, automation, and photonic technologies, which the college describes as the only program of its kind in Quebec. The program page states that instruction takes place on the John Abbott campus, with additional access to the OPTECH Montréal facilities located at Cégep André-Laurendeau. This program (SRAM code 244.A0) additionally requires Secondary IV Science and Technology together with Secondary IV Environmental Science and Technology (or Applied Science and Technology together with Science and the Environment), plus Secondary V Mathematics Technical & Scientific Option or Science Option. English is John Abbott's language of instruction; the College does not publish a separate IELTS/TOEFL minimum for general admission, and international applicants' academic credentials are instead assessed against their own country of study through SRAM's international admission service. Prerequisites older than five years require contacting the Admissions Office. Applications go through SRAM by March 1 for a Fall start.
