Cette spécialisation approfondit les notions apprises au cours des deux premières années d'études en animation 3D. L'étudiante ou l'étudiant élabore et gère trois grands projets — une démo d'équipe, une démo de cours et une démo personnelle — qui constituent son portfolio, tout en réalisant des œuvres plus complexes et en accroissant sa vitesse d'exécution. La personne diplômée est en mesure de concevoir, réaliser et animer des personnages et des scènes réalistes ou fantaisistes en 3D, d'appliquer des effets spéciaux aux séquences vidéo et de faire l'assemblage numérique, avec une spécialisation en modélisation, animation, texture et éclairage ou composition d'images, et une maîtrise de la gestion de projet en animation 3D.

Admission Requirements: Entry to this advanced programme requires the Diploma in 3D Animation (La Cité programme 51517, Animation 3D) or its equivalent; the page states no separate academic, average or language-test prerequisite beyond that credential. La Cité's institution-wide admission pages describe the college's admission process as competitive because of limited capacity, with international applicants required to hold a secondary diploma or baccalaureate, or proof of enrolment in the final year of secondary school, and admission never guaranteed even when every published requirement is met.
