Offert en mode coopératif, ce programme spécialisé en génie civil prépare à travailler à des projets de routes, de réseaux d'égouts et d'aqueducs, de bâtiments résidentiels, commerciaux et institutionnels, de ponts et de barrages. La personne diplômée peut réaliser des estimations de coûts de construction, établir des calendriers de travaux, préparer des dessins techniques, effectuer des travaux d'arpentage et des essais de contrôle de la qualité sur les matériaux et les sols, procéder à des inspections et participer à la conception de projets. En troisième année, un projet de recherche ou une étude de cas est mené sous la direction d'un professeur. La Cité est la seule à offrir ce programme en français en Ontario.
Requirements
Admission Requirements: Entry follows La Cité's general secondary-diploma routes: the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent, the Quebec DES, or the New Brunswick DES, or, for applicants 19 or older, a pass on La Cité's mature-applicant test. Each province sets its own mathematics prerequisite: MCR3U, MCF3M or MAP4C for Ontario (MCT4C recommended); TS 064426, SN 065406 or Mathématique 436 for Quebec (Secondary 5 math recommended); 30321B for New Brunswick (30411B recommended). A candidate short of the required mathematics course may still be admitted by passing La Cité's Numeracy skills-platform test or its preparatory mathematics course. An up-to-date tetanus immunisation record is required before the start of classes. The page publishes no language-test score; La Cité's general admission requirements set French-medium instruction via the OSSD/DES/DEP route for domestic applicants and a secondary-school diploma, or proof of final-year enrolment, for international applicants.
