Admission Requirements: Entry requires an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent with English and Mathematics both at the Grade 12 (C) or (U) level; Grade 11 (U) or Grade 12 Physics is recommended but not required. The programme page states only that international applicants need proof of English proficiency, without naming a test, and refers them to the international admissions section; Niagara College's institution-wide scale for undergraduate diplomas and certificates is IELTS Academic 6.0 overall with no band under 5.5, TOEFL iBT 80 with a minimum of 20 in Writing and Speaking, Duolingo English Test 105+ with no subscore under 95, PTE Academic 58+ with no skill under 53, or CAEL 60 with no band under 50. Students need a workstation-grade Windows 11 laptop with at least a 512GB SSD and 16GB RAM.

Application Deadline:Niagara College's equal-consideration deadlines apply equally to domestic and international applicants to competitive programs, published for the 2026-2027 cycle: for September 2026 entry the date was 1 February 2026, for January 2027 entry it is 5 June 2026, and for May 2027 entry it is 30 October 2026, each followed roughly three weeks later by a document deadline and an earliest-offer date. All other programs, the majority, are processed first-come, first-served starting each November for both domestic and international applicants, with offers issued until seats fill or the term begins. Niagara does not publish which named programs currently hold competitive status. These are institution-wide dates; this programme publishes no deadline of its own.
