The programme page sets no language score of its own and defers to Loyalist's institution-wide requirement for Certificate/Diploma/Advanced Diploma programs applies: TOEFL 550 (paper-based) or 80 iBT with no section below 20, IELTS Academic 6.0 overall with no band below 6.0, CAEL overall 60 with a writing score of 60, Cambridge English C1 Advanced or C2 Proficiency, Duolingo English Test 105 or above with no band below 90, or Oxford ELLT 6. A Criminal Record Check is required for most community field placements, and a Vulnerable Sector Check may also be required; a formal, confidential personal health history and up-to-date immunization record are required as part of registration. Students transferring from another college program may receive transfer credits or exemptions.
