Admission Requirements: Admission requires an OSSD/OSSGD or equivalent including Grade 12 English (ENG4C or ENG4U or equivalent) and Grade 11 or 12 Biology (SBI3C, SBI3U or SBI4U or equivalent), or mature-student status. For international applicants the programme itself sets English proficiency at IELTS Academic 6.5 overall with no band below 6.0; domestic applicants meet the requirement through the Grade 12 English course. Before clinical semesters students must hold valid Standard First Aid and CPR-HCP certification, complete a Vulnerable Sector Check obtained directly through their local police service rather than a third-party provider, supply immunization and blood-test records, and pass a respiratory mask-fit test; international students additionally require a co-op work permit. Further materials, training or certifications may be required by industry placement partners.
