All teaching within Loyalist College is conducted in English. In order to be successful in a program, skills such as communication, listening, comprehension, and reading and writing must be at a level sufficient to meet the demands of post-secondary studies. Admission Requirements: Admission requires an Ontario College Diploma, Ontario College Advanced Diploma, degree, or equivalent, from any field of study; the page sets no minimum grade. It directs international applicants to submit an English-proficiency assessment without stating its own numbers, so Loyalist's institution-wide post-graduate/fast-track requirement applies: IELTS Academic 6.5 overall with no band below 6.0, TOEFL 560 paper-based or 84 iBT (no section below 21), CAEL 70 overall/60 writing, Duolingo 115+ (no band below 100), Cambridge C1 Advanced/C2 Proficiency, or Oxford ELLT 7.
