This program leads to a Master of Science in Nursing, offered online by Memorial's Faculty of Nursing, with two routes: a course-based practicum option involving practicum projects over two terms, and a Nurse Practitioner stream combining online coursework, onsite residency sessions, and preceptor-supervised clinical placements. Requirements
Admission Requirements: Admission requires a bachelor's degree in Nursing with a minimum 3.0 CGPA, plus an undergraduate course in each of statistics and nursing research with a minimum grade of 'B' (65%) in each. The Practicum option additionally requires a minimum of one year (1,950 hours) of nursing practice experience; the Nurse Practitioner option requires a minimum of two years (3,900 hours) of nursing practice experience, a current license to practise nursing, and NL residency at the time of application.
