Program details

Overview

This higher diploma builds the foundational knowledge, clinical skills and patient-care competence that medical imaging technologists need to move into MRI work from another imaging discipline. Coursework is structured around an asynchronous, interactive online format so that working imaging professionals can fit study around existing clinical responsibilities, with scheduled synchronous sessions used for academic guidance, progress checks and ongoing faculty support throughout the programme.

Requirements

Admission Requirements: Michener's Magnetic Resonance Imaging (first discipline) program admits by three routes. University-route applicants need at least one year of undergraduate study (30 credits or 5.0 full-course equivalents) with a minimum 70% overall average plus one term each of first-year biology and first-year math.
