Sign up now to receive updates and information about the program and application process.Register for updates Program Highlights This program fills a unique and growing industry need for interdisciplinary sustainability practitioners with knowledge and skills spanning technology, environment, economic and social impacts.This interdisciplinary program combines management expertise in sustainability accounting, carbon management and sustainability business cases, with project management, environmental policy, regulations, and research skills.As an applied degree, the program emphasizes experiential learning through case-study analysis, real-world application of learning, an industry-based capstone project, and a work-integrated learning term.  This program is engaged and committed to including Indigenous content and knowledge in courses.Hybrid delivery with approximately one third of instructional hours delivered online (synchronous and/or asynchronous).Graduates of the 3-year program will be career-ready and able to apply practical skills in their chosen profession.What you'll learnYou'll gain practical skills and knowledge across key areas such as environmental science and sustainability, technological solutions, management, business strategies, social impact, communication, leadership, research, governance and policy, as well as data analytics and reporting.The management aspects of the program focus on change leadership, project management, sustainable accounting, business case considerations, and building business cases for sustainability.  Throughout this program, you’ll engage with Indigenous knowledge and perspectives, as well as the principles of equity, diversity, and inclusion. You’ll develop the insights and skills needed to tackle sustainability challenges with an inclusive and intersectional perspective, ensuring your solutions consider diverse experiences and impacts.  In the first two years of the program, you’ll engage in hands-on learning opportunities that will prepare you for a work term placement. In your third year, you’ll have the chance to apply your skills in a real-world industry or community-based capstone project. Program lengthThree academic years (periods of eight months) plus a work experience term.
