Sign up now to receive updates and information about the program and application process.Register for updates Program Highlights This program fills a unique and growing industry need by preparing sustainability professionals with expertise in technology, environment, economics and social impact.This interdisciplinary program combines management expertise in sustainability accounting, carbon management and sustainability business cases, with project management, environmental policy, regulations, and research skills.As an applied degree, the program emphasizes experiential learning through case-study analysis, real-world application of learning, an industry-based capstone project, work-integrated learning term, and a culminating applied research project.Hybrid delivery with approximately one third of instructional hours delivered online (synchronous and/or asynchronous).This program is engaged and committed to including Indigenous content and knowledge in courses.Graduates of this program will be prepared to take on leadership roles in sustainability and be equipped with the skills to work collaboratively across interdisciplinary teams to help drive change in a wide range of organizational and community settings.What you'll learnGain practical skills in environmental science, sustainability technologies, business strategies, management, leadership, research, governance and policy, data analytics and reporting.Develop expertise in change leadership, project management, sustainable accounting and business case development.Throughout this program, you’ll engage with Indigenous knowledge and perspectives, as well as the principles of equity, diversity, and inclusion. You’ll develop the insights and skills needed to tackle sustainability challenges with an inclusive and intersectional perspective, ensuring your solutions consider diverse experiences and impacts.In your final year, you’ll deepen your learning by tackling advanced sustainability challenges and integrating your knowledge in meaningful ways. Through an applied research project, you’ll have the opportunity to work on real-world issues at a thesis level, putting your skills to the test in a practical and impactful way.
