Honours Bachelor of Technology – Sustainability at Mohawk College in Hamilton, Canada is a bachelor's degree in Energy Engineering programme. The programme runs for 4 years, delivered on campus. Teaching is in English. Tuition for international students is CAD 9,780 per semester (CAD 3,253 per semester for local students).
This four-year applied degree builds advanced, hands-on expertise across sustainable technologies — among them sustainable building design and operations, renewable energy, and natural resource management — combined with project management, policy, regulations and research skills. Learning is structured through a final applied research project, a work-integrated learning term, an industry-based capstone project, real-world problem-solving and case-study analysis. Students build skills in data analytics and policy-making, communication, leadership, management, sustainable technologies and environmental studies, and engage with Indigenous knowledge and perspectives alongside principles of equity, diversity and inclusion. The first three years include hands-on learning and a community-based capstone project that lead into a work-term placement, while the final year addresses advanced sustainability challenges through an applied research project conducted at a thesis level.
