Mohawk College offers Cert in Career Pathways, a certificate in Upgrading/upskilling programme in Hamilton, Canada. The programme runs for 1 year, delivered on campus. Teaching is in English. Tuition for international students is CAD 9,215 per semester (CAD 1,354 per semester for local students).
This certificate is designed for students who are neurodiverse, face mental health challenges, or otherwise want to build academic and career-readiness skills ahead of further postsecondary study and employment. Instruction combines in-class teaching, computer labs and lectures with individualized unpaid employment placements of about 70 hours, supported by learning facilitators, student placement support, an adaptive technologist and learning skills advisor, and faculty. Students build academic and study skills applicable to more than 40 college programs, strengthen job-readiness skills, learn assistive technologies including Kurzweil, Dragon and Natural Reader, and develop problem-solving and critical-thinking skills for social, academic and workplace settings.

Admission Requirements: Admission requires an Ontario Secondary School Certificate or Ontario Secondary School Diploma, or equivalent, including Grade 10 English at the L level or equivalent; Mohawk notes that workplace and locally developed credits counting toward an OSSC or OSSD are accepted for entry to this program, and options exist for mature applicants who do not hold a diploma. Applicants whose first language is not English will be required to demonstrate proficiency in English, but the programme page does not publish specific test names or scores for this requirement; applicants short of the academic requirement can complete upgrading courses at Mohawk before applying.
