Foundations for Success Certificate

Admission Requirements: Admission requires a minimum age of 17 and that applicants meet the prerequisites for the individual Foundations courses they plan to take. VIU frames the programme as suited to mature students or to those transitioning from high school who want to strengthen academic skills, though this is advisory rather than a formal condition, and there is no secondary-school graduation requirement stated. No grade, GPA, or standardized English-language test score is published on the programme page; applicants are directed to an Academic Advisor to confirm which specific Foundations courses they qualify for based on their existing academic background. No portfolio, interview, work-experience, or other supplementary condition is stated on the programme page.
