Honours Bachelor of Management-Sustainability at Mohawk College in Hamilton, Canada is a honours degree in Sustainable Development programme. The programme runs for 4 years, delivered in a hybrid format. Tuition for international students is CAD 9,780 per semester (CAD 3,253 per semester for local students).
This four-year applied honours bachelor's degree at Mohawk College extends the three-year Bachelor of Management – Sustainability with an additional year focused on leadership and applied research. The curriculum combines business management training in sustainability accounting, carbon management and sustainability business cases with project management, environmental policy and governance content, delivered in a hybrid format with roughly a third of instructional hours online. Indigenous knowledge and perspectives, along with equity, diversity and inclusion principles, are built into coursework throughout the program. Students complete case-study analysis, an industry-based capstone project and a work-integrated learning term, and in the final year undertake a culminating applied research project addressing a real sustainability issue at a thesis-like level of depth. Graduates are prepared for leadership roles in sustainability, working across interdisciplinary teams in a range of organizational and community settings. It suits students who want the management-focused sustainability curriculum of the three-year program together with an honours designation, a research component and additional preparation for leadership positions or further study.
