Overview
Niagara College will not be able to provide support for systems different than the above specifications. Any provided software may not operate properly. Academic software for your courses (supported under the Microsoft Windows 10 operating system) will be made available for download and remote use. Access will also be provided to remote high performance computer labs if software downloads are not feasible.
Requirements
Admission Requirements: Admission requires one of: an Ontario College Diploma or equivalent in Environmental Technician/Technology or Ecosystem Management Technician/Technology, or a bachelor's degree in Biology, Botany, Ecology, Environmental and Resources Studies/Management, Environmental Science/Technology, Landscape Architecture, Wildlife, or Zoology; applicants from other backgrounds must submit a cover letter and resume detailing their environmental work experience. The programme page states only that proof of English proficiency is required without naming a test, deferring to Niagara College's institution-wide scale for graduate certificate programs: IELTS Academic 6.5 overall with no band under 5.5, TOEFL iBT 85 with a minimum of 22 in Writing and Speaking, Duolingo English Test 120+ with no subscore under 100, PTE Academic 60+ with no skill under 57, or CAEL 60 with no band under 50. Testing or other supplemental evaluation may be required, and most private-college courses or credentials are not accepted toward this requirement.

Application Deadline:Niagara College's equal-consideration deadlines apply equally to domestic and international applicants to competitive programs, published for the 2026-2027 cycle: for September 2026 entry the date was 1 February 2026, for January 2027 entry it is 5 June 2026, and for May 2027 entry it is 30 October 2026, each followed roughly three weeks later by a document deadline and an earliest-offer date.
