Overview
The Microsoft Office suite products that are available free to Niagara College students though Office 365 do have versions that work with Macbooks and Chromebooks, and most internet-based applications will work as well. However, some program-specific software is designed to run on Windows 10/11, and the successful download of these applications cannot be guaranteed.
Requirements
Admission Requirements: Admission requires either an Ontario College Diploma (or equivalent) in Environmental Technician/Technology or Ecosystem Management Technician/Technology, or a Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Earth Sciences, Ecology, Environmental and Resources Studies/Management, Environmental Science, or Environmental Engineering; applicants with credentials outside these fields may instead submit a cover letter and resume outlining relevant environmental work experience, and testing or other supplemental evaluation may be required. As a graduate certificate, the program requires proof of English proficiency, for which Niagara College's institution-wide graduate-program scale applies: IELTS Academic 6.5 overall with no band under 5.5, TOEFL iBT 85 with a minimum of 22 in Writing and Speaking, Duolingo English Test 120 or above with no subscore below 100, PTE Academic 60 or above with no skill below 57, or CAEL 60 with no band under 50. Most private-college credentials are not accepted as equivalent; applicants should confirm eligibility with admissions.

Application Deadline:Niagara College's equal-consideration deadlines apply equally to domestic and international applicants to competitive programs, published for the 2026-2027 cycle: for September 2026 entry the date was 1 February 2026, for January 2027 entry it is 5 June 2026, and for May 2027 entry it is 30 October 2026, each followed roughly three weeks later by a document deadline and an earliest-offer date. All other programs, the majority, are processed first-come, first-served starting each November for both domestic and international applicants, with offers issued until seats fill or the term begins. Niagara does not publish which named programs currently hold competitive status. These are institution-wide dates; this programme publishes no deadline of its own.
