BA/BS in Education - Concurrent

The Bachelor of Education (Concurrent) at Nipissing University combines an undergraduate degree with teacher education over a six-year structure: four years on an academic discipline and foundational education courses, followed by two professional years. Students begin developing teaching skills in first year through specialty education courses and complete 85 practicum days during the professional years. The undergraduate component can lead to a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Fine Arts, Bachelor of Science, or Bachelor of Physical and Health Education, combined with a Bachelor of Education. Classes are small, with close faculty mentorship. Admission requires an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) including six Grade 12 University (4U) or University/College (4M) courses, plus Nipissing University's General Admission Requirements and program-specific prerequisites. Intakes are offered in the Fall, Winter, and Spring/Summer terms.
