BA/BS in Nursing - RPN to BScN Bridging

This Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RPN to BScN Bridging), offered as an Honours Specialization on a full-time basis with a fall intake, is a bridging pathway for Registered Practical Nurses. The curriculum covers health assessment and complex care, pharmacology and medication management, mental health and therapeutic communication, Indigenous and community health, and the ethical and legal aspects of nursing, taught in small classes using high-fidelity patient simulators. Students complete clinical placements in hospitals and community health settings alongside coursework. Admission requires prior completion of a Practical Nurse diploma; applicants apply through the College/University Transfer Admissions stream. The program is approved by the College of Nurses of Ontario, accredited by the Canadian Association of Schools of Nursing, and eligible for the Post-Graduation Work Permit for international students.
