The Dawson Creek lab term begins in July, and the program has a single intake each year in August. Admission follows Selkirk College's program requirements: BC high school graduation or equivalent with 60 percent or higher in Anatomy and Physiology 12, English Studies 12, Chemistry 11, and Pre-Calculus 11 or Foundations of Mathematics 12, alongside a criminal record check, a College Readiness Tool Assessment, an applicant questionnaire, and current computer skills. Graduates are prepared to write the national certification exam for pharmacy technicians.

Admission Requirements: Per Selkirk College's program requirements: BC high school graduation or equivalent with 60% or higher in Anatomy and Physiology 12, English Studies 12, Chemistry 11, and Pre-Calculus 11 or Foundations of Mathematics 12. Applicants must also demonstrate English proficiency (graduation from a Canadian high school with three consecutive first-language English courses, an approved language test meeting NAPRA standards, or an undergraduate degree from a Canadian university taught in English), pass a criminal record check, complete the College Readiness Tool Assessment and applicant questionnaire, demonstrate current computer skills, and sign the Health and Human Services Participation Agreement.
