The Agricultural Management Diploma at Olds College is a two-year program covering agricultural operations alongside business skills such as communication, accounting, and marketing strategies. Students study crop production, livestock management, soil nutrition, and precision farming systems, combining classroom instruction with hands-on work on the college's Smart Farm. Within the diploma, students choose between an Agricultural Production major, which centres on production enterprises, environmental management, and sustainability, and an Agricommerce major, which focuses on agricultural lending, finance, marketing, and agribusiness management. The program is delivered on campus in Olds, Alberta, with a fall intake only, and requires high school completion in English, math, and sciences. It suits students seeking broad-based agricultural careers with either a production or business-management emphasis, and graduates pursue roles such as agricultural lender, farm, feedlot, or ranch manager, applied research technician, or marketer of agricultural commodities and processed products.
