Canadian applicants from outside Quebec need an Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent (or 22 completed Grade 11 credits), the required science and math courses at the designated level, generally at a 60% pass threshold, and French proficiency at CEFR level C1 evidenced by a recognized test. International applicants need a secondary diploma equivalent to the Quebec curriculum, a recognized French test at CEFR C1, and may also need an English test; about one year of prior agricultural experience is recommended (a four-month summer season is acceptable), plus practical agricultural knowledge, and a driver's licence is strongly encouraged before arrival.
