BA/BS in Sports Management

The Bachelor of Sports Management develops leadership, entrepreneurial, and coaching skills alongside the knowledge and practical experience needed to work in the sport, recreation, and leisure industries. The program combines business and management coursework with the Bible and theology requirements common to Prairie College's bachelor's degrees, integrating faith-based leadership principles into sport and recreation management training. It is a four-year, on-campus program that pairs classroom instruction with applied coaching and administrative experience. Admission follows the college's standard undergraduate entry requirements, including a minimum academic average and a Christian-testimony component covering personal testimony, spiritual reference, and declaration for admission. The program is intended for students pursuing careers in coaching, athletics administration, recreation programming, or related management roles within sport, recreation, and leisure organizations.
