Overview
The Bachelor of Outdoor Leadership combines Bible and theology coursework with outdoor leadership training. Students complete about 50 days per year of outdoor adventure experience and training, including activities such as biking, climbing, canoeing, and skiing, alongside coursework in experiential education, wilderness first aid, and outdoor leadership theory. The four-year degree includes 45 credits in Bible and Theology and 36 credits in Arts and Sciences alongside outdoor-leadership-specific coursework. The program is delivered on campus. Admission follows the college's standard undergraduate entry requirements, including a minimum academic average, English-language-proficiency proof for non-native speakers, and a Christian-testimony component. Graduates are prepared for roles in outdoor education, adventure programming, camp leadership, and related experiential-education fields that combine practical outdoor skills with a foundation in Bible and theology.
