Admission Requirements: Admission follows RMC's general graduate requirements for the Doctor of Philosophy: applicants normally hold a Master's degree by thesis, or its recognized equivalent, in a field closely related to chemistry or chemical engineering, from a recognized university. Full-time Master's students who have completed at least one full year of full-time enrolment with no less than 80% in each course may instead apply for direct admission from the Master's programme, with supervisor endorsement and successful completion of a transfer examination. Applicants whose first language is neither English nor French, or whose prior education was not conducted in English, must provide proof of their ability to study in the language of instruction, such as an official language test result.
