Overview
Four-year honours degree at the Seneca@York campus preparing user experience (UX) designers who create interactive experiences for video games, mobile apps and online platforms. Students train on industry-standard tools including Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Blender and Unity, and complete a fourth-year entrepreneurial capstone alongside a mandatory work term of at least 420 hours. Delivery is hybrid with some flexible online options.

Admission Requirements: Domestic entry requires an Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent, or mature-applicant status, with six Grade 12 U or M courses averaging at least 65% overall, including Grade 12 English (ENG4U) at a minimum of 65%; Seneca offers free upgrading for applicants short of English or math, and recommends (without requiring) courses in art, design or computer studies. Graduates of Seneca's Interactive Media Design diploma with a GPA of 65% or higher qualify for advanced entry into the degree, bypassing standard admission. English proficiency for international applicants follows Seneca's institution-wide standard for degree programs (senecapolytechnic.ca English requirements page): IELTS Academic 6.5 overall with no band below 6.0, TOEFL iBT with no skill score below 21, PTE Academic 60, Duolingo 115-120, or CAEL 70 with writing at least 60; domestic applicants meeting the Grade 12 English prerequisite are not asked for a formal test. International applicants may also be asked for further documents on a country-specific basis.
