Admission Requirements: Admission follows Seneca's graduate-certificate entry route: applicants need an Ontario university degree, college diploma, or equivalent, in information technology (computer engineering, software, hardware, networking or a related field). Applicants without that credential may instead be considered on an equivalent combination of professional networking experience and a relevant resume and references; applicants lacking networking credentials can fulfil the gap by completing DCF255 - Data Communications Fundamentals through Seneca Continuing Education. Canadian citizens and permanent residents educated outside Canada must submit a WES or ICAS credential evaluation. As a graduate certificate, this program falls under Seneca's institution-wide policy of asking domestic applicants for a formal English test only when they cannot show enough prior study in English (for example three years of full-time secondary school, or two full-time years of college or university study, in a country where English is an official or the common language); international applicants must meet Seneca's published English-proficiency levels for graduate certificates.
