Overview

Eight-month graduate certificate delivered online, building a fundamental understanding of pharmaceutical regulatory affairs and quality operations. Studies of regulatory compliance in Canada and internationally prepare students for careers involving drug or medical regulations and quality assurance, moving from fundamentals in the first semester to more detailed exposure to regulation and quality operations in the second, including preparing submissions to the Therapeutic Product Program and understanding good manufacturing processes. January, May and September starts.

Requirements

Admission Requirements: Admission requires an Ontario university or college degree or equivalent in a science discipline focused on chemistry, biology, or pharmaceutical studies. Canadian citizens or permanent residents educated outside Canada must provide a credential evaluation from a recognised agency such as WES or ICAS. The program's own page states that applicants must meet Seneca's English-proficiency requirement for graduate certificates and that international students must satisfy Seneca's institution-wide English requirement, without restating a numeric score on this page; per Seneca's general admission policy, a formal English test is asked of domestic graduate-certificate applicants only where sufficient prior study in English cannot be shown. Neither this program's page nor its admission-requirements page states a minimum GPA or average for this postgraduate certificate; this online delivery variant shares the same stated admission requirements as the other delivery modes.
