Overview
Two-semester graduate certificate at Seneca@York immersing students in public relations and corporate communications theory and practice. Students learn to write news releases, work with the media, research and develop strategic communications programs and hone digital communications skills, mentored by highly experienced teachers, with a curriculum developed to Public Relations Society of America and International Public Relations Association standards. Delivered in Seneca's flexible format, with professors teaching in person and streaming online at the same time; January and September starts.

Admission Requirements: Entry requires an Ontario university or college degree, college diploma or the equivalent; applicants may instead qualify through an equivalent combination of partial postsecondary study and at least two years of related work experience, supported by a resume and references. Canadian citizens or permanent residents educated outside Canada must submit a credential evaluation from WES or ICAS. For English, the programme page defers to Seneca's institution-wide requirement, stating only that applicants must meet 'English proficiency for graduate certificates' without publishing a score.
