Diploma in Environmental Technician

The Environmental Technician program is a two-year Ontario College Diploma delivered over four semesters at Sheridan's Davis Campus in Brampton. Coursework combines chemistry instruction with hands-on laboratory and field work, training students to collect environmental samples in the field and analyze them in campus laboratories. The curriculum covers current environmental regulations and compliance practices relevant to environmental monitoring and assessment work. Students develop technical skills in sample collection, laboratory analysis, and interpretation of environmental data across the program's four semesters, totaling 88 credits. Graduates are prepared for entry-level technician roles in environmental monitoring, compliance, and remediation work across public and private sector employers.
