Global Management Graduate Certificate

SFU's Global Management Graduate Certificate requires a minimum of 12 units: two mandatory courses -- BUS 710 Global Business Environments and BUS 712 Managing a Globalized Workforce -- plus 6 further elective units chosen from BUS 721 Special Topics in Business Administration, BUS 725 International Applied Project, which includes a short overseas intensive, BUS 732 Global Strategy, which builds on the emerging-markets requirement, and BUS 743 Macroeconomics, Government, and Business in the Global Economy. Beedie School of Business students are expected to complete it within three terms, following SFU's standard graduate admission requirements. Students who complete BUS 710 as part of SFU's MBA program must select an alternate certificate elective in its place, since the same course cannot be double-counted toward both credentials.
