Overview
Program Overview The Plumbing Techniques program is designed to give the student an understanding of the theoretical and practical aspects of the plumbing and pipefitting trades and to familiarize them with the associated tools and materials. The program also provides the student with a solid foundation to continue their education in the plumbing or pipefitting career paths either with further related study or in the pursuit of an apprenticeship. Program Highlights Delivered in the Centre for Construction Innovation & Production. Excellent pathway to an apprenticeship. Career Opportunities Graduates are excellent candidates for job opportunities such as plumbing, pipefitting, steam fitting, boiler maker and welding apprentices or entry level positions in plumbing wholesale or distribution.
Requirements
Admission Requirements: Entry requires an OSSD with the majority of credits at College (C), University (U), University/College (M) or Open (O) level, plus Grade 11 Math at the College or University level. Mature applicants without an OSSD may write the College's admission tests. The programme sets no language score of its own, so the institution-wide certificate-level English requirement applies: IELTS Academic 6.0 overall, TOEFL iBT 60, PTE Academic 52, CAEL 60, CELPIP General 7.0 in each module, or Duolingo 110, dated within two years. Domestic applicants apply through Ontario Colleges and international applicants through International OCAS. The programme is currently waitlisted, with a September intake.

International applicants apply through the International OCAS portal and are admitted on a rolling, first-come, first-served basis; St. Clair publishes no fixed international closing date.
