This one-year Ontario College Graduate Certificate prepares diploma or degree holders to work as converged media journalists across television, radio, print and online platforms. Students produce television programming, radio newscasts, newspaper content, and online material such as podcasts and blogs, developing the multi-platform reporting, writing, and production skills used in contemporary newsrooms. The program is delivered at St. Clair College's Downtown Windsor MediaPlex facility and culminates in a capstone convergence production that graduates complete to demonstrate their combined journalism and communications skills. Admission is open to holders of a diploma or degree in a related field from a recognized college or university, or to applicants who can demonstrate competence through related work experience. The program runs on campus with a single intake each September.
