The Journalism Diploma is a two-year Ontario College Diploma delivered on campus at St. Clair College's MediaPlex in downtown Windsor. The programme trains students to report and produce content across film, television, radio, print and online platforms, with an emphasis on multi-platform storytelling and deadline-driven news production. Coursework covers writing, interviewing and editorial judgment alongside the technical skills needed to enhance stories with photography, audio and video. Students work in the MediaPlex's production facilities, building a portfolio that reflects the multimedia demands of contemporary newsrooms. The MediaPlex also houses the college's film and social media storytelling programmes, giving journalism students access to shared production spaces and equipment. Graduates are prepared for entry-level roles in print, broadcast, digital and social media journalism, including reporting, content production and multimedia storytelling positions across news and media organizations.
