The Bachelor of Science - Nursing (Honours) - BScN - Hyflex program at St. Lawrence College (SLC) offers a comprehensive nursing education that prepares students for a successful career in the healthcare field. We are proud to be the first Ontario college Stand Alone Nursing degree to be accredited by the Canadian Association Schools of Nursing (CASN). Advantages of the BScN program at SLC include early clinical placements starting in the first semester, providing students with hands-on experience right from the beginning. Admission Requirements: St. Lawrence College's Bachelor of Science in Nursing (Honours) Hyflex requires an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent with a minimum 75% overall average across six Grade 12U or 12M courses, including Grade 12 English, Grade 12 Math, Grade 12 Biology and Grade 12 Chemistry, all at the U level; applicants who instead complete the college's Pre-Health Sciences Pathway to Advanced Diplomas and Degrees need a minimum 3.00 GPA or 75% overall average. The program is described as highly competitive, with complete applications including all transcripts and proof of enrollment due February 1, and the college states that meeting the minimum entrance requirements does not guarantee admission.
