This online version of the program means students are responsible for securing their own placement. Student Secure Placement: Applicants must secure their own placement for a total of 10 weeks (350 hours) of practicum experience by the end of the program and may be eligible for entry to the Autism and Behavioural Science Online, Synchronous Program. Complete the mandatory online questionnaire providing St. Lawrence College permissions to contact the agency to ensure placement validity. Requirements
Admission Requirements: St. Lawrence College's Autism and Behavioural Science graduate certificate (online) requires a minimum two-year post-secondary diploma or degree specializing in community or social services, including but not limited to Psychology, Sociology, Education or another related health discipline. Domestic applicants who do not meet the minimum academic requirement may request an alternate admission assessment after applying through the Ontario College Application Service, with supporting documentation. As placement conditions, the college requires a completed Pre-Placement Health Form, a CPIC vulnerable-sector check, and proof of meeting communicable-disease/immunization requirements.
