Conçu pour les infirmières et infirmiers auxiliaires autorisés qui souhaitent faire évoluer leur carrière, ce parcours de transfert s'adresse aux personnes diplômées d'un programme de Soins infirmiers auxiliaires approuvé par l'Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers de l'Ontario et ayant réussi la passerelle NPTI-IAA-BScInf sur la plateforme OntarioLearn. Les candidates et candidats admis intègrent directement la cinquième étape du Baccalauréat en sciences infirmières de La Cité et y développent, par des stages obligatoires auprès de clientèles diversifiées, les compétences cliniques du rôle d'infirmière ou d'infirmier autorisé au sein d'équipes interprofessionnelles de soins en français.

Admission Requirements: A two-year transfer route into the nursing degree for registered practical nurses, and a highly competitive one: files are assessed from 1 February with offers by mid-February, only 15 seats are offered, and applicants are ranked on school test results when eligible candidates outnumber the places. Entry (Ontario): a college diploma in practical nursing (Soins infirmiers auxiliaires) approved by the College of Nurses of Ontario, with a cumulative weighted average of at least 65%; current registration as a registered practical nurse in good standing and without restriction with the College of Nurses of Ontario; and successful completion of the NPTI RPN-to-BScN bridge courses on the Ontario Learn platform with a final mark of at least 65% in each. Applicants who receive a conditional offer must then pass the intensive clinical nursing practice laboratory, and must take and pass an additional anatomy and physiology course preparing for the degree. Working English is expected because of classroom texts and Ontario placements. Before placements: up-to-date immunisation record, a clear vulnerable-sector police record check from your local police service, a properly fitted N-95 mask, and a level-C standard first aid and CPR-AED certificate (16 hours) valid for the whole programme.
